OMERS Realty Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of OMERS and one of Canada's largest commercial and retail landlords, with commercial and retail space in major urban centres across Canada. OMERS Administration Corporation is the administrator of the OMERS Primary Pension Plan, which is a multiemployer plan established in 1962, with over 380,000 members. OMERS administers and provides pension benefits and services on behalf of a wide range of local public- sector employers in Ontario, including municipalities, school boards (for non-teaching staff), electrical utilities and police services boards.
