United Guaranty Corporation

United Guaranty Corporation is a financial services holding company that owns 20 operating companies, providing mortgage and other insurance products in the United States and internationally, notably in Israel, Spain and Hong Kong. It has recently received permission from the Canadian Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) to write mortgage insurance in Canada. United Guaranty Corporation is wholly owned by American International Group (AIG), representing about 2% of AIG’s net income.
