Babcock is a leading engineering support service provider operating both in the United Kingdom and overseas. It specialises in the defence, emergency services and civil nuclear industries. The Company is currently organised into four operating groups, Marine, Land, Aviation and Nuclear, to better align these groups with their customers, regulators, competitors and key suppliers. Effective from 1 April 2019, the Company's Naval Nuclear business, which was within the Marine sector, has been combined with Cavendish Nuclear to create a new Nuclear sector; this optimises alignment with the Company's primary customers and creates one nuclear business that will share resources and operate under the same regulatory environment.
