Alberta PowerLine Limited Partnership is a special-purpose vehicle contracted by the Alberta Electric System Operator to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Fort McMurray West 500-kilovolt Transmission Project, which includes a 500-kilometre single-circuit transmission line running from a substation near Edmonton to a substation in Fort McMurray, under a 36.8-year Project Agreement.
