Renault S.A.

Renault S.A. (Renault) is a major global auto manufacturer with a favourable market position in Europe and Latin America. Renault has a 43.4% equity interest in Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and the two companies maintain a strong strategic alliance. Renault has increased its global automotive presence with equity investments in Korea and Romania. Renault also has a significant sales financing division. In April 2010, the Alliance formed a strategic cooperation arrangement with Daimler AG and expanded further in October 2016 with the inclusion of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. Renault also has an indirect ownership position in Russian auto manufacturer AvtoVAZ, which is fully consolidated.
