Iroquois Gas Transmission System, L.P. owns and operates a 411-mile (661-kilometre) pipeline that is effectively fully contracted for approximately 1.3 million decatherms per day (1.3 billion cubic feet per day), transporting western Canadian natural gas from its interconnection at the Canadian-U.S. border at Waddington, New York, through the state of Connecticut to Long Island, New York. roquois Gas Transmission System, L.P., incorporated in Delaware, is indirectly owned by TransCanada PipeLines Limited (44.5%), Dominion Resources, Inc. (24.7%), and KeySpan Energy Corporation (20.4%), among others.
