Veridian Corporation

Veridian is a municipally owned holding company that owns and operates VCI, a predominately regulated electricity distribution company that services nine municipalities in Eastern Ontario. Veridian is 41.0% owned by the City of Pickering, 32.1% by the
Town of Ajax, 13.6% by the Municipality of Clarington and 13.3% by the City of Belleville. Its service area is an amalgamation of the former municipal electric utilities of the aforementioned municipalities as well as the municipalities of Brock, Port Hope, Uxbridge, Gravenhurst and Scugog.
