The MaRS Development Trust (MaRS Trust) was formed by MaRS Discovery District with the sole purpose of issuing bonds to finance the acquisition of lands and the construction of the 400,000-square-foot Toronto Medical Discovery Tower in downtown Toronto.

University Health Network (Tenant)
University Health Network (UHN) is an acute-care teaching hospital that provides patient, research and teaching services on four sites in Toronto: (1) Toronto General Hospital, (2) Toronto Western Hospital, (3) Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and (4) the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. UHN has entered into a lease with MaRS Trust for a term of 30 years, which fully covers the term of the Senior Secured Bonds.
