Founded in 1908, CIT Group Inc. (NYSE CIT) is a bank holding company based in Livingston, NJ. The Company provides financing, leasing and advisory services principally to middle market companies in a wide variety of industries primarily in North America, and equipment financing and leasing solutions to the transportation industry globally.

On August 3, 2015, the Company acquired OneWest Bank. On a pro-forma basis, the Company has over $60 billion of assets and over $30 billion in deposits.
