Enerplus Resources Fund is one of Canada’s largest and oldest oil and gas income funds, producing about 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day before royalties (61% gas). It operates primarily in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (about 85% of 2007 production) and in the United States in Montana and North Dakota (15%).
