Northern Rock (Asset Management) plc is headquartered in Newcastle in the Northeast of England. The Company is the renamed pre-existing company formerly Northern Rock plc, which was taken into temporary public ownership in February 2008. The Company holds and services the balance of the pre-existing residential mortgage book and is regulated as a mortgage provider by the FSA. The Company is not a deposit taking bank and it does not offer any new mortgage lending.
