Soundvest Split Trust

Soundvest Split Trust is a split share trust that acquired a diversified portfolio of preferred and common shares, income trusts, income securities (including bonds and debentures), Canadian mortgage-backed securities, real estate investment trusts (REITs) and other equity securities by issuing preferred securities and capital units. The preferred securities rank in priority to the capital units with respect to the payment of interest and the repayment of capital upon the termination of the trust.
