Co-operators Financial Services Limited (CFSL or the Company) is a holding company ultimately owned by The Co-operators Group Limited (the Group), which, in turn, is owned by 45 member organizations. This group of members consist of Canadian co-operatives, credit union centrals and representative farm organizations. Co-operators General Insurance Company (CGIC) is the largest operating unit of CFSL. It provides personal automobile and personal property insurance cover to individuals. CGIC also offers farm and commercial insurance products. It ranks fourth among the top ten general insurance providers in Canada. CFSL's other major operating subsidiary is the Co-operators Life Insurance Company (CLIC), which provides a wide range of life and health insurance, annuity and wealth management products to Canadians through the career agency force of CGIC and its own subsidiary, CUMIS Life Insurance Co. CFSL owns 92.42% of Addenda Capital (Addenda), a multi-asset investment firm that manages assets for institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals.
