Under a fixed-price contract that runs until 2041, roughly 90% of the power generated is sold to Hydro-Québec. Churchill Falls (Labrador) Corporation Limited is 65.8% owned by Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, which is in turn owned by the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Hydro-Québec owns the remaining 34.2%.
