Split REIT Opportunity Trust is a split share trust that acquired a portfolio of securities of real estate investment trusts (REITs) by issuing preferred securities and capital units. The preferred securities rank in priority to the capital units with respect to the payment of interest and the repayment of capital upon the termination of the trust.
