Dominion Bond Rating Service (DBRS) has today issued a rating report on Fremont General Corporation (the Company). The report discusses the rationale behind DBRS’s ratings of the Company.

DBRS is releasing this report subsequent to a detailed review of the Company’s operating results and financial fundamentals. DBRS assigned a BB (low) Issuer & Senior Debt rating for the Company on June 15, 2006. The trend is Stable.
