DBRS Releases Report on Sky Financial Group, Inc.

Dominion Bond Rating Service (DBRS) has today released a report on Sky Financial Group, Inc. (the Company) and its bank subsidiary, Sky Bank, which supports the recent confirmation of the Company’s ratings. DBRS also assigned a rating of BBB to the Company’s Trust Preferred Securities and assigned ratings to the Company’s other banking subsidiary, Sky Trust, N.A., at A (low) for Deposits & Senior Debt and R-1 (low) for Short-Term Instruments. The rating action follows a detailed review of the Company’s operating results and financial fundamentals. The trends on all ratings remain Stable.
