DBRS Releases Reports on Arctic Glacier Inc. and Arctic Glacier Income Fund

DBRS has today released reports on Arctic Glacier Inc. (AGI) and Arctic Glacier Income Fund (the Fund) providing further detail on the March 1, 2007, ratings confirmations for both AGI and the Fund. The confirmation removed the companies from Under Review with Developing Implications where they were placed on November 1, 2006, because of proposed changes to the taxation of income funds.

The removal from Under Review reflects a relatively unique status in the income fund market. As approximately 70% of annual taxable income is derived outside of Canada, the proposed changes to the taxation of income funds are not expected to have an impact on the Fund’s ability to maintain distributions at current levels and maintain a consistent leverage policy.
