DBRS Finalizes Ratings to CARAT 2007-2
AutoDBRS has today finalized ratings to the Capital Auto Receivables Asset Trust 2007-2 (CARAT 2007-2) transaction as noted below:

-- $250 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-1a rated at R-1 (high)
-- $ 40 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-1b rated at R-1 (high)
-- $100 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-2a rated at AAA
-- $340 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-2b rated at AAA
-- $380 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-3 rated at AAA
-- $169,364,000Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-4a rated at AAA
-- $ 60,000,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-4b rated at AAA
-- $97,650,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class B rated at A
-- $45,069,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class C rated at BBB
-- $15,023,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class D rated at BB
The CARAT 2007-2 transaction represents the second public securitization of retail auto loans in 2007. The ratings reflect the ability of the credit enhancement within the transaction structure to withstand significant stresses relative to base case losses and prepayment speeds, as appropriate for the rating category.
