DBRS Notes EchoStar DBS Corporation Name Change

DBRS notes that effective December 12, 2008, DISH Network Corporation’s wholly owned subsidiary, EchoStar DBS Corporation, has changed its legal name to DISH DBS Corporation. EchoStar DBS Corporation’s ratings will now be assigned to DISH DBS Corporation. Its Issuer Rating of BB and its Senior Unsecured Notes rating of BB (high), with a recovery rating of RR3, are not affected by the name change. DISH Network Corporation’s Convertible Subordinated Debt rating is also unaffected at B (high), with a recovery rating of RR6.
