DBRS Rates Total Capital’s New Issue of USD 1 Billion at AA

DBRS has today assigned a rating of AA with a Stable trend to the proposed USD 1 billion 3.125% medium-term notes issue of Total Capital SA maturing October 2, 2015. The issue is expected to settle on October 2, 2009.

The notes will be guaranteed by Total S.A. and rank equally with all of Total Capital SA’s other senior unsecured bonds and debentures.
