DBRS Upgrades Issuer Rating on Saskatchewan Telecommunications Holding Corporation

DBRS has today upgraded the Issuer Rating of Saskatchewan Telecommunications Holding Corporation (SaskTel or the Company) to AA from AA (low). The trend is now Stable. This reflects today’s action taken on the Province of Saskatchewan’s (the Province) Long-Term Debt rating. For further details, please see DBRS’s press release on the Province issued today.

The rating of SaskTel represents a reflection of the Province’s rating, as SaskTel is an agent of the provincial government of Saskatchewan that ultimately provides creditors recourse to the provincial government.
