DBRS Assigns Final Ratings to Rental Car Finance Corp., Rental Car Asset Backed Variable Funding Notes, Series 2010-1

DBRS has today assigned an ‘AA’ rating to the $200,000,000 Rental Car Asset Backed Variable Funding Notes, Series 2010-1 issued by Rental Car Finance Corp. The transaction has one class of notes with an expected maturity date of September 2012.

The transaction is being funded under Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group’s Rental Car Finance Corp. master trust and will be supported by a segregated series of collateral. Credit enhancement will be provided initially in the form of overcollateralization and amounts held in a cash liquidity account.

The ratings reflect the ability of the transaction to withstand stressed cash flow assumptions and repay investors according to the terms in which they have invested.
