DBRS Publishes Updated Methodology on Canadian Airport Authorities

DBRS has today released an updated methodology for rating airport authorities in Canada.

The methodology includes an overview of the airport system in Canada and describes how DBRS incorporates factors such as government regulation, the airport’s service area and its economic strength, traffic trends, and the financial and operating profiles of the issuer into its rating process.

The release of this updated methodology has had no impact on DBRS’s current ratings.
