DBRS Rates AltaGas Ltd.’s New Issue at BBB, Stable Trend

DBRS has today assigned a rating of BBB with a Stable trend to the proposed $175 million 4.60% senior unsecured medium-term notes issue of AltaGas Ltd. maturing January 15, 2018. The issue is expected to settle on November 26, 2010.

Net proceeds from the sale of the above-noted securities will be used for repayment of outstanding bank indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
