DBRS Assigns Rating of AA to Total Capital Canada’s New Issues

DBRS has today assigned a rating of AA with a Stable trend to the following Total Capital Canada Ltd. new debt issuance:

(1) Proposed USD 750 million 1.625% medium-term notes (MTN) maturing on January 28, 2014. The issue is expected to settle on January 28, 2011.

(2) Proposed USD 750 million of floating-rate notes maturing on January 17, 2014. The issue is expected to settle on January 28, 2011.

The notes are guaranteed by Total S.A. and rank equally with all of Total Capital Canada Ltd.’s other senior unsecured bonds and debentures.
