DBRS Rates AltaGas Ltd.’s New Issue at BBB, Stable Trend

DBRS has today assigned a rating of BBB with a Stable trend to the proposed $200 million 4.10% senior unsecured medium-term notes issue of AltaGas Ltd. maturing on March 24, 2016. The issue is expected to settle on March 24, 2011.

Net proceeds from the sale of the above-noted securities will be used for repayment of outstanding bank indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
