As part of its ongoing efforts to provide greater transparency in the marketplace, and in response to evolving transaction structures which are being proposed, DBRS has today published presentations on its approach to rating Canadian asset-backed commercial paper (ABCP) supported by Enhanced Liquidity or Program Wide Credit Enhancement (PWCE).

DBRS has been asked to consider a broader spectrum of ABCP transaction structures which use either or both Enhanced Liquidity and PWCE. These presentations are intended to clarify DBRS’s approach to these evolving transaction structures.
