DBRS Assigns BBB Rating with Stable Trend to MTS $500 Million MTN Program
Telecom/Media/TechnologyDBRS has today assigned a rating of BBB to Manitoba Telecom Services Inc.’s (MTS or the Company) Medium-Term Notes (MTN) program as per the final Short Form Base Shelf Prospectus filed today. The trend is Stable.
The issuance of MTNs under this $500 million program will be direct, unsecured obligations of MTS and will rank equally and pari passu with all other unsubordinated indebtedness of MTS. Any MTNs will be issued under its trust indenture dated August 10, 2011.
As ratings are subject to change, subsequent assignment of ratings for MTS will be provided by DBRS as MTNs are issued under this program.
