DBRS Rates AltaGas Ltd.’s New Issue at BBB, Stable Trend

DBRS has today assigned a rating of BBB with a Stable trend to the proposed $200 million 4.55% senior unsecured medium-term notes issue of AltaGas Ltd. maturing on January 17, 2019. The issue is expected to settle on October 17, 2011.

Net proceeds from the sale of the above-noted securities will be used for repayment of outstanding bank indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
