DBRS Releases Report on BCE Inc. / Bell Canada

DBRS has today released a report on BCE Inc. and its wholly-owned operating subsidiary, Bell Canada, that provides further detail on the recent confirmation of the ratings at BBB (high)/R-1 (low) and A (low)/R-1 (low), respectively. The confirmation followed BCE Inc. and Bell Canada’s announcement on March 16, 2012, that they had entered into a definitive agreement to purchase the shares of Astral Media Inc. for roughly $3 billion.
