DBRS Rates AltaGas Ltd.’s New Issue at BBB, Stable Trend

DBRS has today assigned a rating of BBB with a Stable trend to the $350 million 3.72% Senior Unsecured Medium-Term Notes issue of AltaGas Ltd., maturing on September 28, 2021. The issue is expected to settle on September 28, 2012.

Net proceeds from the sale of the above-noted securities will be used for repayment of bank indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
