DBRS Publishes Updated Methodology for Universities

DBRS has today published an updated version of the methodology previously entitled Rating Canadian Universities. The new updated version has an expanded focus that now outlines DBRS’s approach for rating public universities with established academic track records operating in well-developed nations with governments solidly in investment-grade territory providing a considerable portion of their funding. Given these changes, the updated methodology has appropriately been retitled Rating Public Universities.

None of the changes in this updated version have resulted in any rating changes or rating actions.
