May 29, 2013

DBRS is pleased to announce that, starting today, it will be publishing enhanced versions of its Monthly Canadian ABCP Report and Monthly Canadian ABS Report (the Enhanced Reports). The Enhanced Reports add further transparency to the market, including additional performance metrics, historical data, charts and a more comprehensive picture of each deal.

The following are key features added to the Enhanced Reports:

ADDITIONAL METRICS
(1) The Enhanced Reports contain more metrics, providing a more comprehensive picture of each transaction’s credit performance.

(2) The Enhanced ABCP Report includes structure type, prepayment rate, pool factor, cumulative loss rate, yield and excess spread (when applicable), in addition to the metrics already reported in the Monthly Canadian ABCP Report.

(3) The Enhanced ABS report includes the pool factor and cumulative loss rate for amortizing pools, in addition to the metrics currently reported in the Monthly Canadian ABS Report.

LONGER DATA SERIES
While the Monthly Canadian ABCP Report provides only a snapshot of the current month and the Monthly Canadian ABS Report provides 12 months of history, the Enhanced Reports include all data since inception for amortizing deals and the last 24 months for revolving transactions.

GRAPHIC REPRESENTATION
The Enhanced Reports include charts for all relevant metrics, which provides the user with a visual tool to allow for quick review of the overall performance and trends for each transaction, as well as for an entire conduit. This improved format also allows benchmarking of a transaction within an asset class.

FOOTNOTES
The Enhanced Reports have footnotes defining how the main metrics are calculated and reported by the Servicer Provider.

The Enhanced Canadian ABCP Report can be accessed from the Monthly Canadian ABCP Report by clicking on the specific deal number within each conduit. Similarly, the Enhanced Canadian ABS Report can be accessed from the Monthly Canadian ABS Report by clicking on the specific deal name.

The first set of Enhanced Reports with free access is for the reporting month of March 2013.
