DBRS Rates AltaGas Ltd. New Issue at BBB, Stable Trend

DBRS has today assigned a rating of BBB with a Stable trend to the $300 million 3.57% Senior Unsecured Medium-Term Notes (Notes) issue of AltaGas Ltd., maturing on June 12, 2023. The issue is expected to settle on June 11, 2013.

Net proceeds from the sale of the above-noted securities will be used for repayment of existing indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
