DBRS Confirms Rating of FFELP Student Loan Lending Facility to Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency
Student LoansDBRS, Inc. (DBRS) has today confirmed the rating of AAA (sf) on the note following its review of certain amendments to the transaction’s Credit and Security Agreement dated as of February 12, 2013 between Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA), as Borrower and Servicer, Credit Suisse AG, New York Branch, as Administrative Agent, and various other parties. The revolving lending facility is secured by loans owned by PHEAA and originated pursuant to the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP). FFELP loans are ultimately guaranteed to at least 97% by the U.S. government.
