DBRS Confirms and Removes from UR-Positive Series B Notes Issued by FONCAIXA PYMES 4, FTA
Structured CreditDBRS Ratings Limited (DBRS) has today confirmed its B (low) (sf) rating on the €129,000,000 Series B Notes issued by Foncaixa Pymes 4, FTA (the Issuer).
The transaction is a cash flow securitisation collateralised by a portfolio of term loans and drawn amounts on credit lines originated by CaixaBank, S.A. to self-employed individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises based in Spain. The rating on the Series B Notes addresses the ultimate payment of interest and the ultimate payment of principal payable on or before the Legal Maturity Date in September 2046.
The current rating action concludes the review of the Series B Notes, placed Under Review with Positive Implications on 7 April 2015 because of material updates to the methodology DBRS uses to rate and monitor collateralised loan obligations (CLOs) and collateralised debt obligations (CDOs) backed by debt of larger corporations (see “Rating CLOs and CDOs of Large Corporate Credit”, published 7 April 2015), including additional recovery rates applied for non-investment grade rating categories.
Notes:
All figures are in euros unless otherwise noted.
The principal methodology applicable is “Rating CLOs Backed by Loans to European Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)”. DBRS has applied the principal methodology consistently and conducted a review of the transaction in accordance with the principal methodology.
A review of the transaction’s legal documents was not conducted, as the documents have remained unchanged since the most recent rating action (closing).

The last rating action on this transaction took place on 7 April 2015, when DBRS placed the rating of the Series B Notes Under Review with Positive Implications.
Information regarding DBRS ratings, including definitions, policies and methodologies is available at www.dbrs.com.
To assess the impact of changing the transaction parameters on the rating, DBRS considered the following stress scenarios as compared with the parameters used to determine the rating (the base case):
-- Probability of default (PD) rates used: base case PD of 3.50%, and a 10% and 20% increase in the base case PD.
-- Recovery rates used: base case recovery rates, corresponding to a recovery rate of 45.72% at the B (low) (sf) stress level, a 10% and 20% decrease in the base case recovery rates.
DBRS concludes that either a hypothetical increase of the base case PD by 20% or a hypothetical decrease of the Recovery Rate by 20%, ceteris paribus, would produce model results suggesting a confirmation of the Series B Notes at B (low) (sf). A scenario combining both a hypothetical increase in the PD by 10% and a hypothetical decrease in the Recovery Rate by 10% would also lead to model results suggesting a confirmation of the current rating.
