DBRS Updates Canadian University Peer Comparison

DBRS Limited (DBRS) has today updated its peer comparison table for Canadian universities. This table provides an overview of key statistics that influence the credit ratings of universities.

DBRS notes that it has updated the presentation of Total Endowments to a net asset basis as presented on university financial statements, in order to improve consistency and comparability between institutions. The updated presentation affects McMaster University and the University of Guelph, which were previously reported on a total market value basis.
