DBRS Releases Updated Supranational Institutions Rating Methodology

DBRS has today released an updated version of its methodology entitled Rating Supranational Institutions. The purpose of this methodology is to explain the criteria that DBRS uses in issuing ratings on supranational institutions, or multilateral financial institutions (MFIs), and to provide market participants with insight into the rationale behind DBRS’s rating opinions in a transparent manner. The methodology was originally published on March 28, 2014.

This update does not contain any changes from the version last published March 24, 2016. DBRS has determined that no ratings are or will be changed as a result of the update.
