DBRS Confirms Ratings on Earnest Student Loan Program 2016-A LLC

DBRS, Inc. (DBRS) has today confirmed the Class A-1, Class A-2 and Class B Notes issued by Earnest Student Loan Program 2016-A LLC. The confirmations are based on the credit enhancement levels that are sufficient to cover DBRS’s expected losses at their current respective rating levels.

The ratings are based on DBRS’s review of the following analytical considerations:
-- Transaction capital structure, proposed ratings and form and sufficiency of available credit enhancement.
-- The transaction parties’ capabilities with regard to origination, underwriting and servicing.
-- Credit quality of the collateral pool and historical performance.

The confirmations of the outstanding ratings of Earnest Student Loan Program 2016-A LLC reflect a Reserve Account of (0.24%) and overcollateralization (15.73%). As of the March 2017 payment date, the cumulative net loss ratio was 0.00% of the original collateral balance.
