DBRS Requests Comments on Updated Canadian Hospital Methodology

DBRS is today requesting comments on the methodology “Rating Canadian Public Hospitals.” This methodology, upon completion of the request for comments process, is expected to supersede the current version of the same title last published in May 2016. The new version recasts the methodology into two groups of risk factors: essentiality to the provincial health-care system and additional rating factors. While this is a significant update to the methodology, no public ratings are expected to change as a result of the update.

Comments should be received on or before June 5, 2017. Please submit comments to the following email address: Corporate.Finance.Comments@dbrs.com. DBRS publishes on its website all comments received except in cases where confidentiality is requested by the respondent.
