DBRS Discontinues Agrium Ratings

DBRS Limited (DBRS) discontinued the Issuer Rating and Senior Debt rating of Agrium Inc. (Agrium or the Company). Both ratings were rated BBB, Under Review with Developing Implications.

Agrium and Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. are planning to merge businesses to become a new entity called Nutrien. The Agrium ratings are unsolicited and DBRS has determined that there is insufficient information to assess the pro forma financial results and thus cannot determine the credit ratings of Nutrien at this time.
