DBRS Discontinues Potash Ratings

DBRS Limited (DBRS) discontinued the Issuer Rating and Senior Unsecured Debt rating of Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (Potash). Both ratings were rated BBB (high), Under Review with Negative Implications.

Potash and Agrium Inc. are planning to merge businesses to become a new entity called Nutrien. The Potash ratings are unsolicited and DBRS has determined that there is insufficient information to assess the pro forma financial results and thus cannot determine the credit ratings of Nutrien at this time.
