DBRS Finalizes Provisional Rating of AAA on Ontario Teachers’ Finance Trust’s Long-Term Notes

DBRS Limited (DBRS) finalized the provisional rating of AAA with a Stable trend on the Long-Term Notes (the Notes) issued from time to time by Ontario Teachers’ Finance Trust (OTFT). The initial issuance of the Notes from OTFT is USD $1.75 billion of Senior Notes with a coupon rate of 2.125% and a maturity date of September 19, 2022. OTFT is a wholly owned financing subsidiary of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board (OTPP). The Notes are unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by OTPP and rank pari passu with all other present and future unsecured and unsubordinated obligations of OTFT.
