DBRS Publishes Updated Operational Risk Assessment for U.S. ABS Originators Methodology
Auto, Other, Student LoansDBRS, Inc. (DBRS) published the updated methodology “Operational Risk Assessment for U.S. ABS Originators.” The updated methodology, effective as of the date of this press release, supersedes the previous methodology dated December 2014. In this update DBRS removed two Exhibits: Sample Operational Risk Questions for U.S. Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) Originators and Sample Operational Risk Questions for U.S. Asset-Based Loan Receivables and Factoring Originators. The first was removed because the FFELP program was discontinued by the U.S. government in June 2010 and the second was removed because all transactions rated under the methodology have been paid off in full.
DBRS does not deem the methodology update to be material and does not expect any rating actions as a result of this update. The full methodology providing additional analytical detail is available by clicking on the link under Related Documents or by contacting us at info@dbrs.com. The Internal Assessments Global Policy is also publicly available on www.dbrs.com under Rating Policies.
