DBRS Assigns New Rating of A (low) to Brookfield Japan Holdings Inc.’s ¥10 Billion Senior Unsecured Notes

DBRS Limited (DBRS) assigned a rating of A (low) with a Stable trend to the ¥10 billion Senior Unsecured Notes (the Senior Notes) issued by Brookfield Japan Holdings Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (BAM; rated A (low) with a Stable trend by DBRS).

The Senior Notes are fully and unconditionally guaranteed by BAM and rank pari passu to all of BAM’s other unsecured and unsubordinated obligations. Net proceeds of the Senior Notes will be used primarily for general corporate purposes.
