DBRS, Inc. (DBRS) assigned provisional ratings to DT Auto Owner Trust 2019-3 (DTAOT 2019-3 or the Issuer). The DTAOT 2019-3 transaction represents a securitization of a portfolio of motor vehicle retail installment sales contracts originated by DriveTime Car Sales Company, LLC (the Originator). The Originator is a direct, wholly owned subsidiary of DriveTime Automotive Group, Inc. (DriveTime or the Company). DriveTime is a leading used vehicle retailer in the United States that focuses primarily on the sale and financing of vehicles to the subprime market. The loans are sourced via the company’s network of dealers. DriveTime is a leading used vehicle retailer with 138 dealerships in 64 geographic regions and 26 states as of June 30, 2019.
