Credit Union Central of Saskatchewan: Rating Report

On September 25, 2019, DBRS Morningstar confirmed SaskCentral’s long-term ratings at A (low) and its short-term ratings at R-1 (low) with Stable trends. The ratings reflect DBRS Morningstar’s Intrinsic Assessment of the System as well as a Support Assessment of SA2. This support designation reflects the expectation of timely systemic external support from the Province of Saskatchewan (the Province; rated AA with a Stable trend by DBRS Morningstar), particularly because SaskCentral has been designated as a Provincially Systemically Important Financial Institution (P-SIFI).
