DBRS Morningstar Maintains the Class F Notes of Taurus 2016-1 DEU DAC Under Review with Negative Implications
CMBSDBRS Ratings GmbH (DBRS Morningstar) maintained the Under Review with Negative Implications (UR.Neg.) trend on the Class F Notes issued by Taurus 2016-1 DEU Designated Activity Company (the issuer). This rating action reflects that no actual remedial work has taken place to address the mismatch between the interest payable by the borrower and the coupon payable by the issuer to date. However, DBRS Morningstar understands that the transaction parties are working together to resolve the issue as early as possible. As such, DBRS Morningstar has maintained the UR.Neg trend on the Class F Notes.
DBRS Morningstar will continue to monitor the progress of the remedial work and expects further interest deferral on the Class F Notes by the November 2019 interest payment date.
The resolution of the UR.Neg rating action will include a review of potential remedies (if any) and an assessment of whether the deferred interest on the Class F Notes could ultimately be recovered.
