DBRS Morningstar Names Leaders for U.S. ABS and U.S. Structured Credit Teams
Auto, Other, EquipmentDBRS Morningstar, the global rating agency, announced today leadership appointments in its U.S. Structured Finance business. Chris D’Onofrio is appointed head of the U.S. ABS Group and Jerry van Koolbergen is appointed head of the U.S. Structured Credit Group, effective on January 1, 2020. Both served in similar positions at DBRS prior to the integration of DBRS and Morningstar Credit Ratings (MCR) following Morningstar, Inc.’s acquisition of DBRS earlier this year.
Both Mr. D’Onofrio and Mr. van Koolbergen are industry veterans with hands-on structured finance experience of 23 and 21 years, respectively. Both are managing directors and will report to Claire Mezzanotte, who heads DBRS Morningstar’s Global Structured Finance Group. Ms. Mezzanotte will continue to report to Detlef Scholz, President of the global credit rating business.
